This is my First design of my Digi Pack , which i presented to my class in my pitch. I have only designed 3 panels which i would like to keep which are.
- The Front Cover ( bottom right)
- CD panels ( Middle bottom & top )
The other panels ( top left , bottom left and top right ) are panels which i have not yet created and thought about.
The Front Cover:
The Front cover is a design which i got the idea from The Kooks album. I wanted to be unique and different by not doing the usual 1 image front cover design. Therefore , i used to idea by having multiple images across my album cover. I used the photo shoot of the london photo , to show a day out with the band. With Rogues Gallery being a new band , i felt photos of the band need to be used to ensure the audience know who the band are and what they look like , and can tell the type of music genre through the image of the band members such as clothing , looks ect. In addition , i wanted the images and theme of my Digi Pack , to be black and white , as i feel that black and white gives of a dark effect , and the tone and feel the effect gives off suits the genre type of the band. In addition , other similar bands use this effect of their art work such as arctic monkeys and the kooks. They don't seem to use colour.
CD Panel: ( Top CD)
This CD panel is for the Bonus CD where it contains :
- interviews
- behind the scenes with the band
- live performances
- Producing Music
- Life of the band
- Thank you message at the end
I chose the image of the band in the studio recording / producing music as this links in with the content that is in the DVD as this image is a behind the scenes of the band.
CD panel ( bottom )
This is to hold the actual CD . The CD has a image of the band so when you pull out the CD there will be just a wall and scattered along the wall will be beer cans ect. I thought his idea is unique and fun idea for the fans.
The Other Panels:
Top Right: This panel will be a image of a living room wooden table , an old looking table as that suits in with the image of the band. On the table will be fags , beers , rolls up , tobacco , note pad ect as they show the lifestyle of the band as a unique photo. I feel like this type of band , wouldn't have too many photos through out their panels , so i wanted to use a photo which doesn't involve the band members.
Track Listing: This idea is not going to be my idea , i just made this quickly to present to the class a near finished piece. I am going to look at some of my photos i have so far of the band and see what i can use for my track listing.
Bottom Right : Un decided.
