First Video Shoot: 13/12/2013
Today we started our filming for our music video. After making our production plan , this was the first shoot we had to do , and the chosen scene was the running scene involving Charlie ( 3rd transformation).
Location:
The location we filmed was the streets around Welling , we wanted the housing and background to look working class to give off a the type of background Charlie was brought up in. To do so we used google maps and looked around on street view to find locations/ roads that would be perfect for us to use.The print screen of google maps shows the road we used. We went down lovel avenue and few of the sides roads as this is all council estate around here , so it fits what we are looking for.
In addition , the video above shows the location of the road we filmed , just for documentation purposes.
Equipment:
The equipment we used were the following shown in this image:
We used a Tri-Pod hired out from Welling School Media Department and a DSL 600 camera.

Roles:
Charlie Lilly : Actor
Daniel Kelly : Camera man
Charlie Northern: Camera man
Harry Monan: Camera man
We took it in turns to film so everyone got a go as this is our music video we need to film and create it ourself.
Costume/ Props:
The costume we used for this shoot was a grey tracksuit and running shoes so it goes with the effect that Charlie is training and working out. Shown in the image bellow.
Review:
Overall , this was our first shoot so we wasn't expecting the best. However , we feel like we have came back with some good shots and more ideas for our next film shooting next week. This shoot was more about the wide angles and long shots and a starting progress so we get a rough idea. The next shoot for this type of scene we are focusing on close ups as we feel out music video needs to be dominated with short cut of close ups to make the video more fast paced. Perhaps , we might wait for the weather to be cold so the cold air coming out of Charlie mouth could give off a good effect to the music video.
