FINAL DIGI PACK
This is my final Digi Pack
Top Right ( CD PANEL) - This is my CD panel , as you can see I used an idea of using objects for my CD. I wanted to be unique and diferent , a theme in which the band is like and a theme i am trying to express in this digi pack. I took an image of the ashtray for my CD use and edited it in Photoshop. The image got very goo positive feedback. Also I ensured that the background image underneath linked in with the CD. Therefore , under the ashtray is an image of a table with Rogues Gallery etched in. This allows the audited to feel like they are putting the ashtray onto the table. I made the whole image black and white as that creates an indie feel but also is a link throughout the music video , poster and digi pack.
Middle Top (BONUS DVD)
This is my bonus DVD , where the fans can see interviews , the music video t club foot , behind scenes footage. I applied the same idea as the CD by choosing a method in which is unique and is a product. I chose to use the bottle top as the CD as that expresses the bands lifestyle and that is a link to the meaning behind the DVD as you get to see the bands lifestyle in that. In addition as you take the bottle top off the background is an image of the beer frothing , applying an interaction between the DVD and background making it unique and enjoyable for the audience. I made the image black and white for link purposes mentioned above and also applied the red theme on top due to red being a colour that is used through out my digi pack due what Red symbolised . It shows bands passion and love for music and also their rebellious /anger attitudes in the drinking and smoking.
Top left ( Inside Panel)
This is just an image of a guitar , the reson why i chose to have this is because firstly i didn't want the inside to consist of images of the band as i feel like that is what a pop genre band does they sell their image rather indie rock bands collaborate their image with their skill in their performance and talent. I wanted to be unique and create an idea which makes the digi pack a collectors item. This panel will release in different photo , 1 of the guitar , bass , drums and microphone. This is a method for the super fans to go out and interact and find these different digi pack , this method has been used by indie bands such as nirvana and kasbain where they bring out different versions for super fans to collect.
Bottom Left ( Inside Panel)
This image is again representing the bands lifestyle. The image contains drink and smoking which represent the band image and the bands name. Their are 4 bottles , one for each to represent the members of the band. This image is just to show the lifestyle and image of the band and represent the genre , to establish them-self as indie rock bands , the parka in background establish this too. The smoke effect makes the image look unique and exciting brings life to the image , which is something the boys are trying to do with their music , bring life through their music. In addition , i added a social networking links to this image as i felt this was a vial thing to have due to the target audience being between 16-25 , this means that they can find out more about the band and follow us gaining the bands recognition.
Bottom Middle ( Back Cover)
This is the track listing for my digi pack. The image consist of the band looking out to tower bridge. Tower bridge represents london , showing where the boys are from and with the band looking out in the distance shows they are achieving their dreams trying to reach their goals with this being their first digi pack. In addition , you can see the clothing so that establishes a bit about the genre of the band. In addition i ensured i had record label and bar-code for professional purposes.
Front Cover:
The front cover consist of images of the band in images that contain and represent all about themselves. With this being the first digi pack , they need to interact and show themselves and instead of one image , i liked the idea of having a montage of them. I wanted to be different and i feel like this really works.
